Today Texas reported a new record number of Covid vaccines given to Texans in one day: 386,911.

70% of Seniors age 65 and above and 50% of Texas age 50-64 have received a Covid shot.

Also, Covid cases of nursing facility residents is the lowest since this day last year.

New: The US reported at least 80,157 new coronavirus cases on Friday according to John Hopkins University.

This marks the third day in a row and the fourth day in the last week the US reported at least 75,000 or more new coronavirus cases.
