Barack/Michelle Obama partners at Netflix (that also has Susan Rice on its board) To Air ‘Cuties’ Movie About 11-Year-Olds ‘Twerking Their Way To Stardom’ Through ‘Sensual’ Dancing https://t.co/QD9ZYfFurU
It is so revealing that the first major @netflix original to centre young Black girls hinges on explicitly sexualising 11 year old children. Whether it’s acting or music, a sexualised image is too often the price of mainstream success for Black women & girls. Disgraceful. pic.twitter.com/18ItsgIZLb
Netflix has a movie called “Cuties” about 11 year olds in a twerking dance group. Some of the reviews claim it’s a “commentary” on the sexualization of children but this is the poster. And keep in mind that the lead actress is actually 11 years old. In the film and real life. pic.twitter.com/4p2exeSvXw
Babar Azam has scored 2049 ODI runs in wins for Pakistan, averaging 85.37 (SR 88.28), 9 out of his 11 ODI centuries in wins. Babar's average of 85.37 is the highest ODI average in wins in 50-year ODI cricket history (Min 1K runs). Incredible by King Babar @babarazam258 👑#Cricket
I've been told that we can't judge "Cuties" until we've seen it. No. What don't you understand here? Normal, non-creepy adults have no interest in sitting down for two hours to watch a film about 11 year olds twerking. This is absolutely a "judge the book by its cover" situation.
Estela, an 11 year old whose mother was deported: "Mr. President, my mom is the wife of a proud American Marine and a mother of two American children. We are American families. We need a president who will bring people together, not tear them apart. Sincerely, Estela."
