Nine new Covid-19 cases in Qld & the Premier reintroduces restrictions. She’s following in the footsteps of @jacindaardern where the elimination strategy failed. This is all about her trying to secure a win at the state’s October 31 election. https://t.co/4VFBKHOzLd

Today NSW (pop. 10 mill) had 1 new COVID case while Qld (pop. 5 mill) had 9 new cases. The outbreak source: a Qld Govt employee at a Qld Govt facility with no COVID plan. The result: the community punished with loss of freedom. The border closure is just an ego trip distraction.

If you have been at any of these locations at the time specified, you should carefully monitor your health. If you have symptoms, stay home and arrange a test immediately.#covid19au pic.twitter.com/loVDookR1Z
Sure, it's not rational that SA/WA/NT/Qld are closed to jurisdictions with low or no Covid cases. But was it rational to spend billions on offshore detention? Was that decision done purely on merit and No Politics allowed? No.
